Grape Lamp – Crystal Clear – Large

The large sized crystal clear grape lamp is made out of more than 125 unique mouth-blown pieces attached to a metal body. The lamp is illuminated by light bulb slipped inside, radiating each individual drop casting beautiful refractions in all directions.

The grape lamps can be placed on a furniture or a ground, or they can be hanged as they have a built in hook. Our lamps are shipped ready for use with electric plug-in fittings including a lightbulb.

Artisanal tradition. Drops are handcrafted individually by traditional mouth-blowing technique coming from Aleppo dating back to 1st century BC. This ancient glass-blowing method involves creating drops without any moulds so each drop is unique and no lamp is similar to another. 

Sustainability. Our craftsmen use only certified recycled glass sourced from local bottles, molten it and up-cycle it to create the grape lamps. This way we ensure the waste reduction, creating sustainable products with higher purpose.

Empowering local communities. The grape lamps are produced in Damascus, Syria, supporting the local craftsmen and their families. The region has been war-torn since 2012, and the rocketing gas prices have forced artisans to return to traditional production in kilns and furnaces. The proceeds from each lamp help guarantee a livelihood for artisans and their families during these hard times.
